Emergency rooms in Ottawa experience longer wait times.

 

According to a survey, Ottawa hospitals' emergency departments had longer wait times for medical appointments in June than the province as a whole. The Ottawa General Hospital campus in Ontario has the longest wait times, according to the Health Quality Ontario study. In June, the average wait time at an Ontario emergency room was two hours.

At the site of Ottawa General Hospital, the wait time is 4.1 hours. According to Health Quality Ontario, wait times at Montfort Hospital, Ottawa Hospital Civic Campus, Queensway-Carlton Hospital, and CHEO also climbed by two to three hours.
