Clashes in Calgary between two Eritrean factions; roads are stopped

Roads in northeast Calgary have been stopped due to fighting between two Eritrean gangs. Saturday evening, the incident occurred along McKnight Boulevard and Falconridge Boulevard Northeast. According to a report from authorities, both sides of these highways have been closed. In addition, a heavy police presence has been maintained in the region. There were about 200 Eritrean teenagers involved. According to eyewitnesses, the brawl was directed at the demonstrators. The attackers arrived equipped with sticks and other deadly weapons. A few had Eritrean flags as well. Apparently, to the authorities, numerous persons were injured in the clash, although none were critically harmed.
