Canada will collaborate with ten Southeast Asian countries to combat food hunger.

During the ASEAN Summit in Jakarta, Canada declared that it would collaborate with ten Southeast Asian countries to address global food insecurity and efficiently execute nutrition needs. Canada is dedicated to solving food hunger by investing in the food sector. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau intends to invest in green infrastructure and supply chain resilience in the Indo-Pacific region. Justin Trudeau addressed this issue at the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum. He stated that Canada is working on renewable energy, sustainable energy, and water initiatives.

In a joint statement, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations said it will collaborate with Canada to ensure food supplies.
