Wildfires in Canada are out of control, and it is not expected to be contained during the fall season.

In Canada, wildfires are still raging. According to a new government assessment, wildfires will continue to burn across Canada through the fall season in September. Wildfires are raging throughout eastern Alberta and into Ontario. According to Natural Resources Canada numbers issued Thursday, there were 1,052 wildfires burning across Canada as of Sept. 6. 791 of them are still uncontrollable. There have been 6,174 fires across the country this year. This season, there have been 284 evacuation orders issued due to wildfires. So far, 16.5 million hectares have been burned this season, based on estimates.
