Risk in Atlantic Canada as Hurricane Lee moves to the northwest

 

With 195 km/h winds when it formed, Hurricane Lee is currently heading northwest. Atlantic Canada might be at risk by the weekend, according to the National Weather Service. The storm has not yet made landfall in Atlantic Canada, but the warning predicted it will approach the Southern Districts of the Maritimes by Saturday with sustained winds of 130 kph. Additional advisories from the National Weather Service have been issued for the upcoming 24 hours for Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
