Flooding following a storm in Libya; 2000 dead.

 

 

Storm Daniel caused flooding in eastern Libya. Derna spilled away into the sea after two of the city's dams fell. Over 2000 people died. More than 10,000 people are missing. According to Libyan National Army spokesman Ahmed Mismari, the collapse of dams has enhanced the magnitude of the calamity. Daniel caused chaos in Libya after wreaking devastation in Greece the previous week.
