Two more people in the state had Nipah symptoms; samples will be analyzed.

 

Nipa symptoms have been reported in two patients from Thiruvananthapuram. The local health department stated that the two samples will be forwarded to the Virology Institute for testing and that there is no need to be concerned. Eleven people on the Kozhikode Nipah high risk contact list had negative test results. As a result, 94 people's test results were negative.A nine-year-old boy who was very ill as a result of Nipah has recovered.

According to Minister Veena George, the situation of the remaining four victims receiving treatment in hospitals is improving. Attempts are being made to locate the people on the contact list. The central team is assessing the situation in the district. The district collector has ordered that only online classes are allowed in Kozhikode city till next Saturday.
