The DAC approves a number of projects for the Indian Navy.

The military Acquisition Council (DAC) has authorized a Rs 45,000-crore plan to buy new weaponry as part of Atmanirbhar Bharat, India's military sector strengthening initiative, as well as next-generation survey vessels for the Indian Navy. Hindustan Aeronautics manufactures the aircraft's cutting-edge systems, 60 percent of which are made in India.

The force will also include 12 Su-30 MKI fighter jets, a Druvastra missile, Dronier aircraft, a Light Armed Multi-Purpose Vehicle (LMV), and an Integrated Surveillance and Targeting System (ISAT-S). The committee, chaired by Minister Rajnath Singh, gave its blessing.
