Heavy rains kill eight people in Rajasthan

Heavy rains in Rajasthan's Banswara district claimed the lives of eight persons. Life in Rajasthan has been hampered by heavy rains. Dungarpur district has received a lot of rain in the past 24 hours. Heavy rainfall was also recorded in the districts of Pali, Pratapgarh, Sirohi, Udaipur, and Banswara. Rivers and drains have overflowed in numerous regions across the state, bringing life to a halt.

Crops have also been damaged in certain places. Many villages in the Banswara division were without power. Train travel has also been impacted. Four train services have been canceled by North Western Railway. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning that heavy rain could fall in isolated areas of Udaipur, Sirohi, Jalore, and Pali today, as well as Dungarpur.
