President Draupadi Murmu to inaugurate the conference of National Human Rights Institutions tomorrow.

 

Tomorrow, President Draupadi Murmu will kick off the Conference of National Human Rights Institutions in the Asia Pacific Region in New Delhi. The two-day conference will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the 30th anniversary of national human rights institutions and the Paris Principles. The environment and climate change will also be tackled. In addition, the National Human Rights Commission will provide a lecture on business and human rights. The conference's goal is to ensure that corporations emphasize human rights and environmental sustainability in their operations.
