In New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will kick off a week-long program called Sankalp Saptah for the country's aspirational blocs. The inaugural program at Bharat Mandapam will be attended by around two lakh persons, including block and panchayat level office bearers, farmers, and other members of society. On January 7, this year, the Prime Minister inaugurated the countrywide Sankalp Saptah Aspirational Blocks Program to strengthen government at the block level and inhabitants' quality of life.
The scheme is being implemented in 329 districts across 500 aspirational blocks. Chintan Shivers were organized across the country at the village and block levels to implement the Aspirational Blocks Program and develop an effective block development strategy. Sampurna Swasthyam, Suposhit Parivar, Swachhata, Krishi, Shiksha, and Samriddhi Diwas are the themes for the first six days. Sankalp Saptah - Samavesh Samaroh will be celebrated for the entire week on the concluding day of the week, October 9.
