Attack on Israel: increased security at houses of worship across Canada

 

Following strikes by the Hamas terror organization against Israel, police in Canada have increased protection at places of worship. In order to protect Canadian citizens, the RCMP stated that there are no specific threats to the Jewish communities in Canada. Instead, they are cooperating with law enforcement agencies both domestically and abroad. The RCMP added that they will step up patrols in front of places of worship across Canada. Security has reportedly been stepped up in places of worship, such as synagogues and churches, according to Ottawa police.
