As reported by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, anti-Semitism is on the rise in Canada as a result of Israel's deadly airstrikes in Gaza. Anti-Semitism was prevalent in Canada before the conflict. Trudeau mentioned the prospect of a hate crime at a Jewish high school in Toronto last week. He highlighted increased anti-Semitism at synagogues, online comments, and rants as examples of growing anti-Semitism. Three people were arrested after making threats at Toronto's Hebrew Academy. In response to increased anti-Semitism, police have increased patrols at Jewish cultural centers, synagogues, mosques, and other places of worship.
