The nation observed Vijayadashami, which marked Goddess Durga's victory over Mahishasura, and Dussehra, which celebrated Lord Rama's victory over Ravana. Both events remind us to put our differences aside and accept one another. President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and others have offered their best wishes to the nation's population by emphasizing the importance of dharma, Satyam, and jnana. Traditional practices such as the burning of Ravana's effigy were part of the occasion in various world regions.

West Bengal's Durga Puja celebrations concluded with idol immersion. Kerala honored the advent of knowledge with 'Vidyarambha' at the same time. Haryana staged grand celebrations, including burning a 171-foot-long effigy of Ravana packed with eco-friendly firecrackers. This event motivates individuals to live moral lives, symbolizing the triumph of righteousness.
