Protests in Calgary in response to the Israel-Hamas conflict; three people were arrested.

 

Three people have been arrested in Calgary in connection with protests against the violence in Madhesha, according to the Calgary Police Service. Following protests in the city's Olympic Plaza, three people were arrested. Earlier, there were demonstrations here related to the Israel-Hamas conflict. According to a police press release, he has been charged with breach of peace and assault with a weapon against a person. On Sunday, approximately 330 people gathered at the Olympic Plaza to demonstrate their support for Palestine and Israel. In accordance with the police, both parties were asked to leave the area to reduce tensions following the violent incidents. Police say everyone will be allowed to exercise their Charter rights to protest, but they urge Calgary residents to do so peacefully and without violence.
