Leaked data from a cyber attack on five Ontario hospitals has been published online.

 

An attack against hospitals and healthcare facilities in Ontario has been launched. Five hospitals were targeted by ransomware assaults. According to officials, information stolen in the attack was made public online. Bluewater Health, Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Erie Shores Healthcare, Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare, and Windsor Region Hospital, as well as their service provider, Transform Shared Services Organization, all confirmed being victims of the cyber attack. As per hospital officials, the cyber attack disrupted hospital operations and took the personal information of certain patients, employees, and professional personnel. It is not indicated what type of data it is or where it is located. An investigation has been launched by the police.
