Ubisoft, a video game maker, has laid off 84 people in Quebec. The redundancies are intended to streamline the structure and operations of the organization. 98 people will lose their jobs across Canada. In an email, the corporation revealed that it is cutting off 2% of its personnel in the country. The decision will not impact production teams, according to the corporation. Ubisoft maintains studios in Montreal, Sherbrooke, Quebec City, and Saguenay, Quebec. In 45 studios, 19,000 people are employed.
