V Muraleedharan, the Minister of State for External Affairs, is in Tokyo for a three-day visit.

Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan arrived in Tokyo. He stated that India and Japan respect a particular strategic and global alliance founded on old historical ties and common values. From November 8 to 10, Muralidharan will be in Japan for official business. During his tour, he will most likely meet with ministers, business leaders, academics, and members of the Indian diaspora. Aside from Tokyo, he will also visit Kyoto, Hiroshima, and Oita. He will also offer a lecture on "India and the Emerging World" at Ritsumaikan Asia Pacific University in Oita.
