President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people on Diwali.

Diwali, the festival of lights, was observed throughout the country. The celebration, which commemorates the triumph of good over evil, is marked by the lighting of lamps in homes, temples, and other public locations. On this day, President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the public. The President stated in her message that Diwali is a festival of pleasure and happiness that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and justice over injustice. President Murmu went on to say that the Diwali festival enlightens the conscience and inspires everyone to fight for the sake of humanity. 

President Murmu urged people to celebrate the Festival of Lights safely and to offer their support for nation-building by helping to conserve the environment. The Vice President stated in his message that Diwali strengthens people's will to live good and virtuous lives and perform to the best of their ability. According to Shri Dhankhar, the light, brightness, knowledge, wisdom, and compassion of this festival should spread throughout the people's hearts.
