Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav stated that Rs 3,000 crore will be invested in the IT hardware sector.

As stated by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, 27 companies will invest approximately Rs 3,000 crore in the IT hardware sector under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme 2.0. He announced in New Delhi that 23 of these companies will immediately begin manufacturing servers, laptops, and tablets.
Appreciating this significant achievement, the Minister stated that this output will generate around two lakh job prospects. The minister stated that India's electronics output will reach $300 million in the next years, making India a prominent player in the sector of IT hardware production.
