Dr. President Draupadimurmu unveiled the statue of Bhimrao Ambedkar on Constitution Day.

 

Today is Constitution Day in the United States. Since 2015, the government has begun commemorating the day as part of the promulgation of the Indian Constitution. The day's goal is to promote constitutional ideals among citizens. In connection with this, President Draupadi Murmu unveiled at the Supreme Court a statue of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the father of the Constitution.

Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and other Supreme Court justices were also in attendance. To mark the 73rd Samvidhan Divas (Constitution Day), the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs has invited all citizens to take the Constitution Quiz and read the Preamble online.
