President Draupadi Murmu will present the National Awards for Divyangan Empowerment in New Delhi.

 

President Draupadi Murmu will deliver this year's National Awards for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangan) in New Delhi today. Every year, on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Presidential Awards will be granted to people with disabilities for their remarkable achievements and contributions in the field of disability empowerment. The program is organized by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangan) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The IDPD's message this year is "United in action to save and achieve the SDGs for persons with disabilities."
