The Eastern Zonal Council will convene for the 26th time tomorrow in Patna, Bihar's capital city. Union Home Minister Amit Shah presided over the meeting. In addition to Bihar, Chief Ministers from Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha will attend the summit. The discussions will cover topics like as resource allocation, taxation, interstate border issues, left-wing radicalism, and law and order. The member states are also making demands on the Centre's reference in meetings. The gathering will also cover many important national concerns. The meeting will be attended by the chief secretaries and senior officers of the member countries.
