Autopilot problem: Tesla recalls 193,000 vehicles in Canada

 

Tesla has announced that it is recalling 193,000 vehicles in Canada after it was found to have a problem with the Autopilot system. After more than two million vehicles were recalled in the United States, vehicles are being recalled after the problem was discovered in Canada. Transport Canada said Tesla will provide over-the-air software updates for advanced driver assistance features. Tesla said the vehicles are being recalled to fix a defect in a system that requires drivers to pay attention when using Autopilot. Tesla said it will update the over-the-air software to include more controls and alerts.
