Industrial production in India has reached a 16-month high of 11.7 percent.

 

In October, India's industrial production increased by 11.7 percent, a 16-month high. It was 4.1 percent in the same period the previous year. The Industrial Production Index is used to calculate factory output. Manufacturing output jumped by 10.4 percent in October 2023, according to National Statistical Office data, while mining output increased by 13.1 percent.
