The Central Goods and Services Tax (Second Amendment) Bill, 2023, was introduced in the Lok Sabha to alter the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduced the bill. The Minister also introduced the Provisional Tax Collection Bill, 2023, in the Lok Sabha.
