Taylor Bachrach, British Columbia's NDP transport critic, and Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP, envisions miles of train travel. The objective is to travel more than 4,500 kilometers by train to his hometown of Smithers, to identify the need to enhance Canada's passenger rail infrastructure. Passenger trains in Canada are frequently delayed because they must yield to cargo trains traveling on the same track. The goal is to identify these types of issues and find solutions.
