Union Minister Prahlad Joshi stated that various historic bills from Jammu and Kashmir were enacted during the government's second term, ranging from the repeal of Article 370 to new criminal laws. In a press conference in New Delhi, he stated that the repeal of Article 370 has resulted in significant changes in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that the government made modifications to the Indian criminal justice system in order to remove the colonial imprint of British rule, and that these measures were designed to meet the demands of the period.

The winter session of Parliament, which began on the 4th of this month and ended yesterday, saw the passage of 19 laws in both houses. The minister stated that the administration is taking the Parliament security breach seriously and is beefing up security. He chastised the opposition for impersonating the Rajya Sabha chairman and denounced their actions. Meanwhile, opposition INDIA parties are protesting the suspension of opposition MPs from the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha around the country.
