Thousands of smartphones have already been collected and delivered to the visually impaired across Canada.

It has also collaborated with partners to create apps capable of reading e-mails, texts, books, prescription labels, and street signs. The smartphone has become an indispensable tool for the visually handicapped. Many visually challenged people are out of work. Lornitus explains that they are unable to purchase a smartphone.
