Statistics Canada reports that the number of persons departing Canada is increasing at an unprecedented rate.

 

Canada's population is rising at an alarming rate, but the country is losing individuals at an unprecedented rate, according to Statistics Canada. The country had its fourth exodus of people in the last 73 years in the third quarter of this year, according to figures. Over 32,000 people have departed the country. This represents a 3% rise in emigration.

Previous large exodus events occurred in 2016, 1967, and 1965. During the first three quarters of the year, more than 74,000 people fled. According to Statistics Canada, the country's population increase in the third quarter of 2023 broke a 66-year record.

The country's population increased by 40.5 million as of October 1.The report indicated an increase of more than 430,000 people since July.
