A missing family of three has been discovered dead in Lac Ste Ann County, Alberta.

 

The bodies of a missing family of three have been discovered in Alberta's Lac Ste Ann County, according to the Parkland RCMP. Kelly (39), Laura (39) and their eight-year-old son Dylan were discovered dead. They went missing on Christmas Day, December 25. Kelly and her family had left their home to attend an event, according to police. They had last been spotted on December 23.

In a side-by-side utility terrain vehicle, the family went off-roading. Their remains were discovered at the Alexis Bridge on Lac Ste Ann's Range Road 40A.The Parkland RCMP, fire department, and underwater recovery team all assisted with the mission. The automobile belonging to the family was also recovered. According to the authorities, the collision could have been caused by heavy snowfall. An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
