According to reports, petrol prices in Canada may rise somewhat in the coming year. The increase in petrol prices, according to Michael Manjuras, chair of global management studies at the University of Toronto, is due to an increase in the carbon tax. He claims that there could be a 2.5 percent to 2.6 percent hike per litre.
