Canada ranks eighth in terms of most powerful passports in 2024.

The list of the world's most powerful passports for this year is now available. Canada is sixth on the list. Canada, like the United States and Hungary, now has visa-free travel to 188 countries. France, Italy, Germany, Singapore, and Spain lead the way. These countries' passport holders can travel to 194 destinations without a visa.
Henley published the ranking list, which was based on IATA data.


For the past five years, Japan and Singapore have constantly held the top two spots. Second place is shared by Finland, Sweden, and South Korea. These countries allow visa-free travel to 193 countries. Third place went to Austria, Denmark, Ireland, and the Netherlands. This year, India climbed three places to 80th place. Indian passport holders can travel visa-free to 62 countries.
