Extreme cold spreads; Environment Canada has issued a warning across Canada

A winter storm is moving across Ontario and Quebec from Friday evening into Sunday. Snowfall and storms are expected to produce up to 30 cm of snow in some areas. Five to 10 cm of snow is expected in the Greater Toronto Area. A winter storm warning was issued for Toronto on Friday evening.Up to 25 cm of snow is forecast in the city.

Alberta and the northern communities of Regina, Saskatchewan are expecting the coldest temperatures by Saturday morning, forecasters said. And temperatures could drop to -30°C in Manitoba with wind chills.
