Civilian workers in Ontario and Quebec to go on strike

 

About 500 civilian workers at military bases in Ontario and Quebec will go on strike starting Monday, the Public Service Alliance of Canada said. Workers at Canadian Forces bases in Ottawa, Petawawa, Kingston, Valcartier, Montreal St-Jean and Bagotville are on strike after contract negotiations broke down, the union says. It is said that they are planning to go on strike.
