The cold weather continues on the prairies. Environment Canada said both coasts will experience wintry weather this week. Most of Alberta, Saskatchewan and southern Manitoba are under a severe winter warning. But Environment Canada says temperatures are expected to rise slightly this week. Freezing rain or ice pellets are possible in British Columbia this week. Meanwhile, Newfoundland and Labrador, Quebec and New Brunswick are forecast to experience a winter storm and heavy snowfall. These areas were under special weather statements and warnings until Monday evening.
