Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has announced that airports and airline operators will set up war rooms at six metro airports to address passenger issues in view of the disruption of flight services due to fog. He said that adequate availability of CISF personnel will be ensured round the clock at the airports. The minister added that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation will regularly monitor and report on the implementation of directives, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and civil aviation requirements.
