Alberta's top doctors are warning the province to be vigilant as Strep A infections continue to spread across Canada. Strep A infections among children in the country are rising at a record rate, health experts said. In this situation, health experts warn that it is necessary for people living in Alberta to be very careful. They suggested that children should be monitored regularly and health workers should be informed immediately if symptoms are observed.

Strep A infection is more likely to spread among school children. Hence, experts suggested that if you are experiencing any symptoms, you should stay indoors.

Last month, six children in Ontario died of strep A. This is followed by a stricter directive in Alberta. Children below 10 years of age are most affected by the disease.
