Most people like to drink fruit juice. But a new study suggests that drinking too much fruit juice can lead to obesity. Studies have shown that fruit juice is never good for those trying to lose weight. The study was published in the journal JAMA Pediatrics.

Studies have shown that drinking a glass of 100% fruit juice every day can lead to a small amount of weight gain in children and adults. 100% fruit juice is juice with no added sugar. The researchers reviewed 42 different studies. In children under the age of eleven, the study showed that for every eight additional ounces of fruit juice consumed, there was an increase in body mass index.

Researchers say that it is not necessary to avoid drinking juice altogether, but that those trying to lose weight should also reduce the amount of juice. Researchers are finding that the liquid calories in juice may be the cause of weight gain. Juice does not contain the same amount of fiber as fruit. So they don't feel full while drinking and drink more. Researchers point out that this may be the cause of weight gain
