Rashtriya Bala Puraskar, 2024, to be presented by President Draupadi Murmu in New Delhi

 

President Draupadi Murmu will present nineteen children with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bala Puraskar, 2024 in New Delhi today. The award will be given to 19 children selected from all regions of the country for outstanding achievements in the fields of arts, culture, bravery, innovation, social service and sports. Nine boys and ten girls are among the award winners from 18 states and Union Territories. Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani and Minister of State for Women and Child Development Munjpara Mahendrabhai will also preside over the function. Awards are given to children aged 5 to 18 years. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bala Award winners on January 23. The awardees will also participate in the Republic Day Parade on January 26.
