Property tax must be reduced from 7.8 percent:calgary council to discuss in the matter

 

In Calgary, the recently raised property tax rate will be discussed by the Calgary Council. The City Council voted unanimously to bring the proposed notice to the next council meeting on February 27. Councilor Terry Wong put forward the motion and five others supported it. The executive committee proposed that the increase should be reduced from 7.8 percent to 5.8 percent.
