Premier David AB will control the use of cellphones in schools in British Columbia. This action is part of the new measures to keep children healthy and safe from increasing online threats. David announced that the regulation will come into effect from September. He also stated that he will work together with school boards for this.

David said that new measures include legislation to remove images of children from the internet and catch social media companies that harm students in any way. He also said that children's use of cellphones affects the classroom environment.
