Home sales rose 38.5 percent in January; Real Estate Board Report

Home sales in Vancouver rose 38.5 percent in January, according to the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board. January home sales totaled 1,427. But this is 20.2 percent lower than the 10-year seasonal average of 1,788, the board said.

Citywide reported 3,788 new listings in January. 14.5 percent increase from January 2023. But new listings were 9.1 percent below the 10-year seasonal average. January's composite benchmark home price in Metro Vancouver was $1,942,400.
