The visit of the Nepali Parliamentary delegation to India has concluded. The visit started on January 30 at the invitation of the International Committee of the Indian Parliament. An eight-member delegation led by Chairman Rajkishore Yadav visited India. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha welcomed the Nepalese delegation during his visit to the Lok Sabha building. Discussions were held at the Lok Sabha Secretariat to foster closer ties between the two countries. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar met the Nepali Parliamentary delegations and appreciated the delegation for their strong cooperation.

The delegation also met the Tourism Minister of Goa, Rohan Khaunde. On reaching Goa, the team visited Aguada Fort and the famous Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai.The visit is significant in the context of historical ties and shared interests between Nepal and India and it is hoped that the talks will help further strengthen the multilateral relationship between the two countries.
