The Bureau of Meteorology is forecasting up to 30 centimeters of snow in parts of Nova Scotia this week. A winter storm watch was issued for the province on Sunday. The heavy snowfall comes two weeks after some areas of Nova Scotia received more than 100 centimeters of snow. A weather update from Environment Canada says a nor'easter will pass through southern Nova Scotia from Tuesday evening into Wednesday. Most of the province will see 20 to 30 cm of snow.

The update states that a severe winter storm is likely to cause reduced visibility and wind gusts of up to 70 km/h. The agency added that people should be vigilant and follow weather advisories.
