Imityas Qureshi, the first Indian chef to win the Padma Shri, has passed away. He was 93 years old. Chef Qureshi, the renowned master chef of the ITC Hotel, has attracted world attention with Bukhara's culinary brand. Born in 1931 in a culinary family in Lucknow. In 2016, the country honored Qureshi with the Padma Shri. He has also worked in many official banquets hosted by Indian Prime Ministers and Presidents.
