Bangladesh Prime Minister said that cooperation between Bangladesh and India is essential

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said India and Bangladesh are close neighbors and cooperation is necessary. She made this clear when she visited the visiting Chief of the Air Force Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary at Sangsad Bhaban office in Dhaka. Stating that the main enemy in the region is poverty, Sheikh Hasina added that maximum resources are being spent on poverty alleviation.

Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhary congratulated the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for winning the new mandate and wished her good luck for her administration. The Air Chief briefed the Prime Minister on the ongoing bilateral defense cooperation. Bangladesh Prime Minister's Speech Writer MD Nazrul Islam said in a press conference after the meeting that the Air Force Chief assured the Prime Minister that he would provide all kinds of cooperation to build a smart armed force in a smart Bangladesh.

Speaking about Bangladesh's 'Force Goal-2030', the Indian Air Chief took the initiative to cooperate in training and conduct joint exercises with Bangladesh Air Force personnel, BSS reported. He said that Bangladesh is ready to provide all possible cooperation for the development of Air Force. The Indian Air Chief Marshal came on a three-day visit to Bangladesh on the invitation of Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Marshal Sheikh Abdul Hannan. A three-member delegation is also accompanying him.
