Some small cities and towns in America are offering relocation packages to attract new residents. Also known as worker relocation programs, these are available across the country. Financial assistance and other attractive benefits are offered to employees through the program. The number of cities offering incentives has more than doubled in recent years, according to a report by MakemMyMove.com, an online marketplace platform that connects remote workers with locations around the United States.

The concept of pay-to-move is different in these programs. These are programs that attract workers to a location by offering them money. Such programs have been started in Tulsa, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Indiana, Topeka, Kansas, Kentucky, Alabama, Alaska, and Michigan. Residents are lured to the sites by offering up to US$15,000. Companies and organizations offer cashless houses, vehicles, and better jobs through the program.
