A 52-year-old man who sought treatment in the United States for excruciating headaches was found to have laid eggs in his brain. Tapeworm eggs found inside Florida man's brain He sought treatment thinking that his headache was due to migraine for months. But during the doctors' examination, eggs of worms were found inside his brain. A scan revealed multiple cysts on both sides of the brain. It was later found to be pork tapeworm eggs.

He regularly ate half-cooked bacon. Doctors say that this is how eggs of worms formed in his brain. Doctors concluded that by eating bacon cooked like this, the infection may have reached the stomach and it may have turned into worms and formed in other parts of the body.
