South Korea has created a new revolution in the food industry. Researchers in South Korea have conducted a new experiment called beef rice. This is a method of growing beef cells in rice seeds. Animal fat and muscle cells are injected into rice seeds. The environment is also prepared for the rice plants grown in this way. The makers of BeefFries are Professor Jinkee Hong and fellow researchers at Yonsei University in Seoul.

Enzymes and livestock-related cells are injected at various stages of rice seed growth. When it reaches full growth, the rice for beef rice is ready.

Beef rice is pink in color even though it looks like a grain of rice. Nutritionally, it has eight percent more protein and seven percent more healthy fats than regular rice meals. Amino acids are also abundant. The price of rice is only two dollars per kilo. Carbon emissions from livestock farms can also be offset to a large extent. But this beef rice is not a complete substitute for beef. Although the experiment of adding chicken and eel fish to soy has been done in many countries including Singapore, it is the first time in the beef rice variety.
